Mehmet Fatih ARSLAN graduated from the Faculty of Theology, Istanbul University. Arslan earned his MA degree with the thesis titled “Concepts of Essence and Existence in the Philosophy of Fakhr al-Din al-Razi” from The Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University. He had been awarded with several scholarships from many national and international institutions including The University of Jordan and Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. Arslan finished his Ph.D. thesis, “Philosophy of Existence in Jalaladdin al-Devvani”. His research interests have been focused on Post-Avicennian Islamic philosophy, Early Ottoman philosophy and thought, Metaphysics and Ontology. He is currently an academic member of Istanbul University, Department of Islamic philosophy.
