Develops a biblical theology of religions with a focus on understanding Islam. The course seeks to clarify biblical theological answers to big worldview questions like the existence and identity of God, the origins of evil, the meaning of human history and society, and many other questions and considers them against those represented by the Qur’an. Students are invited to develop a more robust biblical theology of Islam to help Christians understand, evaluate and respond to Muslims’ beliefs and practices in a more nuanced way than is often evident.
